About Cody Silker-Wilhite, DO
Cody Silker-Wilhite D.O. has been a pediatrician with Guthrie County Hospital and Clinics since 2012. Originally from Minnesota, she completed her medical education at Des Moines University and went on to complete her pediatric residency at Blank Children’s Hospital in Des Moines. Iowa quickly became home, both personally and professionally.
Dr. Silker is passionate about caring for infants, children, and adolescents. She believes kids make everyday fun, and she enjoys laughing with her patients, helping them feel comfortable, and watching them grow and develop into kind, confident individuals. Building long-term relationships with families is one of her favorite parts of pediatric practice.
She lives in West Des Moines with her spouse and their two daughters, Austyn and Elliot. Outside of work, she loves spending time with her family, traveling, watching Catlin Clark, and enjoying the outdoors.
