About Josh Strehle, DO
Dr. Josh Strehle is a board-certified family physician who has been caring for patients at Guthrie County Hospital since 2014. He provides comprehensive medical care across clinic, hospital, nursing home, and emergency medicine settings. Dr. Strehle enjoys treating patients of all ages and values building long-term relationships with individuals and families throughout every stage of life.
He earned his medical degree from Des Moines University and completed his residency training at Iowa Lutheran Hospital. Dr. Strehle manages both acute and chronic health conditions, with clinical interests that include diabetes care, adolescent health, and preventive medicine.
With a patient-centered approach, Dr. Strehle focuses on listening, educating, and partnering with his patients to empower them in their health decisions. Whether addressing an unexpected illness or helping manage long-term health concerns, he strives to provide compassionate, accessible, and comprehensive care.
Outside of medicine, Dr. Strehle is deeply involved with his family and enjoys coaching his children’s sports teams. He is an avid sports fan—especially the Nebraska Huskers and the Cincinnati Bengals—and appreciates spending time outdoors and enjoying nature.
